Sony Electronics is seeking an Expert Sales Generalist to join our East Coast team.
What is mSafety?
mSafety is a secure, remote health & safety monitoring platform that combines network connectivity with intuitive product design. The solution consists of a purpose-built wearable device with sensors to measure e.g., heart rate, activity levels and sleep, and a secure cloud back-end that allows health & safety service providers to stay continuously connected with end-users.
Based on mSafety, our B2B customers can build a broad range of remote monitoring services in areas as diverse as elderly care, pharmaceutical trials and search & rescue.
The mSafety platform is developed and marketed by Sony Network Communications Europe - dedicated to providing intelligent, connected, value-add network services. We are based in Europe and primarily serve the European and US markets.
Position Summary / Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for sales and business development in North America for mSafety platform targeting customer in the segment of health & wellness, clinical trial and hazardous work, throughout the sales funnel, for the lead generation all the way to contract negotiation and post-sales account management.
Define and execute sales strategies for reaching business goals
Drive lead generation, qualification and nurturing
Maintain accurate sales forecast
Issue weekly/monthly reports to SNCE management
Identify and contacting new clients and partners through meetings, social media, and sales calls.
Conduct ongoing market analysis, develop marketing communications and build internal and external partner relationships.
Research prospects, identify buying circle, needs, changes and budget
Lead legal discussions with the customers
Build long-term relationships with customers
Sales experience in strategic sales
Have experience in sales of platforms and building a business
Strong entrepreneurial mindset
Have a strong technical interest in cloud technologies
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Self-starter with high degree of motivation
Experience in technical business development
Established network in one or more of the target segments health & wellness, clinical trial and hazardous work
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $85,000.00 to 112,000.00. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
