The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree with a major in sociology, public or college administration, or related field
Two years of experience in program administration or related area.
Job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of the minimum requirements upon approval of the Chancellor.
Prior work experience as a college recruiter.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database operations
Ability to deliver quality customer service to a diverse student population
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, both one on one and in large groups.
Able to prioritize work and multi-task while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Knowledgeable in the use of general office machinery
Able to travel upon occasion, sometimes overnight
Knowledge of campus and community resources.
Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs.
Ability to coordinate the activities of campus academic and/or social programs.
Ability to evaluate collected information and formulate into recommendations.
Able to move about freely and lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs.
