As a Portfolio Manager for the Certified Pre-Owned Instrument Product Line (PLRB) you will have a unique opportunity to work in a high growth business that is dedicated to extending the Agilent brand to new customers and preventing low cost competitors win business from Agilent. You will be responsible for the helping to develop and maintain the 200+ instrument portfolio of refurbished instruments, as well as new product line introductions identified by you and the team as a valuable addition to the Certified Pre-Owned Portfolio. Responsibilities include:

• Maintain the extensive refurbished (PLRB) instrument portfolio based upon multiple factors including product demand, market acceptance, and supportability
• Collaborate with the originating instrument divisions on the refurbished product offering to ensure alignment with their business model and support end of service planning to understand the instrument lifecycle and appropriate refurbished pricing.
• Maintain the accuracy of the information in the PLRB online sales tools for instant product, pricing, and discounting information.
• Own and update the global pricing and discounting model for CPO instruments and their positioning within the Agilent new instrument offering.
• Help to craft new channel development strategies including eCommerce for refurbished instrumentation and B2B sales including appropriate inventory listings, pricing and online promotions
• Work with global marketing program managers to align eCommerce with the overall PLRB digital strategy finding new customers online and driving them to online order closure
• Support the Global CPO Business Development to address gaps in the portfolio and craft the appropriate sales tools and training needed for success.
• Embrace challenges solving a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexities with perseverance and respond quickly to sales needs and inquiries.
• Developed sales/ marketing/ business/ channel development projects requiring coordination with other functions, customers, and third parties

• Bachelors or Masters University Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related science degree
• 5+ years relevant experience in product management, project management, business development or equivalent
• Requires solid domain knowledge of Agilent instrumentation, business, markets, as well as product positioning and pricing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Must have demonstrated effectiveness in working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
• Customer oriented (both internally and externally)
• Experience working with sales channels and indirect partners

• Product marketing experience
• Experience with online selling of technical products a plus
• Experience with business systems (SAP, CRM, Agile)
