https://nursing.uark.edu/Summary of Job Duties:The duties and responsibilities of this 9-month, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing position include: teaching primarily graduate courses; advising students; clinical practice engagement; performing professional and community service and outreach; and contributing to ongoing program evaluation and improvement.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution of higher education conferred by the start of employment

  • Demonstrated knowledge of innovative teaching approaches and the use of technology in instruction

  • Experience with inter-professional collaborative education, scholarship, and/or practice

  • Demonstrated strong interest in and professional commitment to the preparation of advanced practice nurses

Required Certification or License:

  • Current APRN license in the State of Arkansas, or eligible for licensure in Arkansas

  • Family Nurse Practitioner certification


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with online graduate programs

  • Use of technology in instruction

  • Teaching experience
