Within Asset Wealth Management for a Fortune 100 Commercial Investment Bank, you will be a part of the Market and Investor Services business, an area comprised of the world's leading securities and derivatives sales, trading, research and operations groups providing clients with a full suite of services to meet their specific needs.

Our Retirement Processing Specialists are instilled with the drive to succeed in a challenging environment and enforce the need for timely execution of deliverables. You will be responsible for the accurate processing of retirement account transactions by meeting deadlines across domestic markets. You will gain valuable experiences with various investment banking products and services that have risk exposure. With the global footprint of our business you will get the chance to work with key personnel across our corporate centers and learn how to operate in a global economy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Heavy interaction with sales force, call centers and Advisor Service Centers, Escalation Teams
• Answer technical questions with respect to account types, transactions, tax reporting and general product rules and attributes
• Oversight/Review/Reconciliation of tax data, tax forms, transactions, ledger breaks (Preliminary and/or Post tax filings or transaction execution)
• Lead/Own department projects
• Risk and Oversight/Control initiatives
• State tax rule review and compliance
• Attend and cover meetings
• Review and opine on complex beneficiary designations and provide solutions
• Create presentations
• Special projects

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of experience in Retirement Accounts, Contribution Plans, IRAs and Check Services
• Understanding of tax reporting requirements for all retirement types related to forms 1099-r, 1099-Q, 5498 and 5498- ESA and plan specific reporting requirements
• Experience in Customer Service with clients and other service teams - both operational, front and middle offices
• Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Bachelors degree
• Complete willingness and drive to take proactive ownership of processes - start to finish
• Professional Phone/Electronic communication Etiquette
• Problem solving capabilities
