Security Clearance:

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.

Job Description:

Organization development activities may include assessment of needs, conflict resolution, on and off-site meeting facilitation, long-term planning and strategy development, design and facilitation of focus groups, culture and climate assessment, organizational design, role clarification, succession planning, leadership transition, systems thinking, change management, strategic planning, team building, innovation and creativity, research on best practices, organizational communication, organizational coaching, professional development, support development of Work Force Development (WFD) process. Assist in the preparation of business management documentation, briefs and reports. Other responsibilities may include:

  • Provide consultation and interventions to achieve cohesion among organization components such as groups, environment, technology, individuals and tasks.
  • Provide analysis, consultation and guidance to leadership to determine the changes needed to facilitate a learning environment within an organization.
  • Perform organizational and program analyses, position evaluation, reviews and assess Command organizational requirements, and develop recommendations and management strategies to incorporate new requirements and to more effectively structure positions to achieve mission goals.
  • Conduct position management and organizational reviews and analyze findings relative in support of Talent Management initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
  • Minimum 5 years experience with organizational development within a large complex organization
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
