ECOLAB3D is Ecolab's proprietary data and analytics platform. It utilizes numerous data sources to generate actionable insights for Ecolab's external and internal customers. These insights are focused on improving customer performance and outcomes as part of improving the overall Ecolab customer experience.

Ecolab Sales & Service (ES&S) is Ecolab's internal global platform to enable our field service and sales teams to work more efficiently and effectively to deliver world class experiences for Ecolab's customers. It is a mobile first application built on Salesforce and other supporting technologies, featuring enhanced scheduling and routing capabilities, in-app ordering, and other impactful sales and service call features.

What you will do:

  • Drive a Quality gap analysis for all features/systems in the Institutional & Specialty portfolio. You will present a risk assessment and a plan of action to remediate gaps.
  • Define automation strategy, automation case development approaches, and design tools for testing of critical Institutional & Specialty systems.
  • Direct teams on the design and implementation of automated tests that will help in end-to-end quality of major deliverables
  • In partnership with Product Management and Engineering, define the output metrics and bar for quality in Institutional & Specialty with input metric drivers including mechanisms for tracking.
  • Oversee quality dependencies across multiple teams, scrum teams, functions, divisions, and stakeholders including both onshore and offshore teams and both direct reports and indirect "dotted line" reports via a Center of Excellence.
  • Lead Quality outcomes by standardizing test planning, test case development, test code reviews, and associated mechanisms.
  • Drive a Quality Center of Excellence with key stakeholders from each platform team to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key quality issues. Be the key driver to ensure quality goals are met and drive the strategic vision of the quality program.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key functional stakeholders to drive focus on quality goals. Be a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success.
  • Provide visibility to quality status (issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis through push status reporting (to all stakeholders, team members, and interested parties).
  • Anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering with quality
  • Provide monthly program reviews and updates at sprint reviews (deep dive into current state of project goals, risks, escalations).
  • Be a catalyst within the organization as someone who can help advance our quality drive others in the organization to change.
  • Build a culture of strong engagement, accountability and high performance across functions and delivery teams. Build digital delivery competencies and attract, mentor and groom digital talent.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years experience leading software quality projects with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects for large scale global digital solutions.
  • Experience in building test automation and working with automated frameworks and tools
  • Experience with managing both direct reports and "dotted line" quality professionals, ideally including experience with both onshore and offshore and with full-time and contract team members
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle in an Agile setting; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with professional software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with recommendation systems, data science, and big data
  • Experience driving performance testing initiatives and standards
  • Experience testing Salesforce applications,
  • Programming experience
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
  • Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.
