The Contract Administrator is responsible for the accurate preparation, negotiation, award, and commercial management of various high dollar, complex and high risk engineering and construction contracts; and engineered equipment contracts for capital and maintenance projects related to electric power generating facilities, electric transmission and distribution facilities and natural gas delivery facilities.
ADVANCEMENT IN PROGRESSION
Advancement to a higher level is based on value added to the Company through increased duties, responsibilities, and accomplishments. Advancement is not automatic, i.e. based solely on time in the job, but will be based on direct observation of the employee's performance, accomplishments, qualifications, and the business and/or technical needs of the department.
LEVEL 2 - CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR II
Contract Administrator II completes the Contract Administrator I primary duties independently and proficiently, and performs the additional responsibilities below with minimal supervision, receiving mentoring and training from Contract Administrator III and Manager.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Required: Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering or related field from an accredited college
Required:Minimum four (4) years direct work experience performing the duties and
responsibilities of this position related to construction, project engineering, contract management, and project management.
LEVEL 3 - CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR III
Contract Administrator III completes the Contract Administrator II primary duties independently and proficiently, and performs the additional responsibilities below with minimal to no supervision. Provides training and mentoring to Contract Administrator I and Contract Administrator II.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Required:Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering or related field from an accredited college
Required:Minimum six (6) years direct work experience performing the duties and
responsibilities of this position related to construction, project engineering, contract management, project management, and quantity survey experience
