Job Details

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To scan, review and pay all invoices in a timely basis using online systems, thereby providing an uninterrupted supply of goods and services to ChristianaCare and Home Health Services.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs accurate and timely processing of paper and electronic invoices for approval and matching related Completes Purchase Orders and Receipts in PMM, OnBase, GHX, Tecsys and Workday.

Participates in the month end process (including accurately accruing all invoices $500.00 or more).

Assists with all Year-end duties

Maintains, reviews, and reports on account activity to external customers and internal staff as required.

Verifies documents for accuracy of dollar and quantity amount to process for payment.

Assists with working the AP2 mailbox and paper mail when needed.

Reviews and reconciles vendor statements

Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices.

Reports to AP Leadership, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.

Performs other related duties as required.

SCOPE, PURPOSE, AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS:

Frequent partnership with Department Heads, Procurement Department, Materials Management Department, Accounting, vendors, and other Christiana Care Caregivers at various levels for the purpose of providing information related to payments for goods and services.

Accounts Payable Supervisor and Director of Disbursements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Six months clerical experience offering public contact.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
