Job Description
Foley & Lardner is seeking an associate with 2-4 years of relevant experience to join our State Attorneys General/FTC Practice in our Austin office.

Our ideal candidate will have a background in consumer protection and/or civil Medicaid fraud government investigations and litigation. Experience working for a state Attorney General (AG) or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Bureau of Consumer Protection is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates must have exceptional legal research and writing skills and the ability to work for multiple partners firm-wide on a variety of matters simultaneously. A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic, coupled with a desire to be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential.

We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate with strong academic credentials, who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated national practice and is comfortable having direct interaction with partners, lobbyists, and clients, to join our growing Austin office, located in the heart of downtown Austin at 600 Congress. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.
