We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Product Management (Security/Account) to join our Middle Office Solutions Product team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Wellesley, MA - Hybrid work schedule

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Participate in daily stand-ups and scrum sessions with the development teams.
  • Liaison between Development and Business partners
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and scrum sessions with the development teams.

  • Work on solution requirements for new Product features
  • Participate in new client onboarding efforts, as needed, to define gaps in product features.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Past working experience in Security master, Account master, Data management is strongly preferred
  • Strong experience in at least one Investment Operations domain (Data management, Trade management, Derivatives, IBOR, Data Delivery/Reporting)
  • Working knowledge on Bloomberg and/or other market data across all asset classes is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with diverse asset classes (Equity/Fixed Income/FX/Derivatives (Cleared/Bilateral) & Cash is strongly preferred
  • Facilitate technology projects from start to finish, including gathering/documenting requirements, communicating with development team, and overseeing/assisting with testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ability to quickly learn and map business processes to systems & capabilities.
  • Perform business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, detailed data analysis, data mapping and testing while collaborating with business teams.
  • Formulates and defines project scope, objectives, constraints and assumptions using existing documented processes based upon user needs as well as a thorough knowledge of the application, business, operations and industry.
  • Oracle/SQL Skills is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Investment operations workflows and functions is desirable.
  • Exposure to Eagle RDC/SRM and/or Eagle Data integration is a plus.
  • Exposure to Saphyre is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of market data across all asset classes and a view of the premier market data vendors in this space is a plus
  • Functional specifications write up is a plus.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $179,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
