What you will be doing

The Financial Analyst II will be a highly visible role assisting with the consolidation of the P&L budget and forecast processes for Cencora. In addition, this position will assist the Manager and Director of FP&A with various ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as necessary. Will partner with Business Unit finance teams to forecast, analyze, and consolidate all aspects of the budgeting process.

  • Aid in the process of building and communicating consolidated P&L and metrics forecasts for monthly, yearly, and long-range plan cycles to CFO and business partners.

  • Assist with the Monthly, Annual Plan, and long-range plan budgeting processes.

  • Interacts with several cross functional departments such as accounting, tax, treasury, and business unit finance to align and recommend financial expectations.

  • Assist Manager and Director with various ad hoc reporting / projects as necessary.

  • Stays up to date on current healthcare trends and incorporates into analysis.

  • Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of 1-2+ years directly related and progressively responsible experience or a Master's Degree.

  • Knowledge of various financial management areas such as commercial credit, uniform commercial code, financial statement analysis, business law, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis.

  • Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

  • Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements

  • Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint
