Job Description
What this job involves:As a Sourcing Director at JLL, you will play a pivotal role in driving the procurement and sourcing strategies for our organization. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and executing procurement initiatives to drive cost savings, process efficiencies, and overall supplier performance.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize supplier selection, quality, cost, and delivery.
Conducting market research and identifying potential suppliers to ensure competitive advantage.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring their performance.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align sourcing activities with business objectives.
Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, bid management, contract negotiation, and supplier onboarding.
Analyzing and monitoring market trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and recommending strategies to senior management.
Leading cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement processes and systems.
Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Managing vendor scorecarding and performance metrics to track supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
Desired experience and technical skills:Requirements:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Proven track record in developing and executing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and achieving cost savings.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supplier management.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
Preferred:Master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Certification in procurement and supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
Experience in the real estate or facility management industry.
Experience in leading global sourcing initiatives and managing suppliers across different regions.
