Position Details

The position assists with medical oversite and medication management of individuals with I/DD. This includes medical data entry, medical documentation, medication monitoring, and compliance of medical needs.

Job Description

• The position assists with the medical oversight of individuals with I/DD.
• This includes data entry of medical care and medications, auditing medical documentation and monitoring for completion of follow up needed.
• Communicate with medical facilities, providers, and pharmacies.
• Assist with doctor appointments and diagnostic testing as needed.
• Conduct routine reviews of individual medical files.
• Provide oversite in all aspects of medication management and DME equipment management at assigned sites.
• Ensure compliance with DE licensing regulations on medication practices and medical care.
• Participate in individual meetings as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in IDD and knowledge of licensure regulations preferred
• Familiarity of Therap system and durable medical equipment purchasing a plus
