Job/Internship Description
Ziegler CAT has an opening for a temporary, part time, Mining Technology Support Specialist Intern to assist the Mining Technology Support team with various duties relating to the ongoing support of various CAT MineStar related technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work safely to represent Ziegler technology products as they are sold to Ziegler's Mining market, primarily the full suite of CAT MineStar solutions

  • Provide exceptional customer experience by answering initial technician/customer inquiries and generating support tickets for the Mining Technology Support team

  • Assist with resolving customer support cases in a timely manner via office work, customer calls, etc.

  • Work with Mining Technology Support team to improve repair process, build training material, and communicate troubleshooting standards

  • At times climb onto equipment to assist with troubleshooting technology issues

  • Work collaboratively with team to help support various projects

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred

  • Pursuing degree in either Computer Sciences or IT preferred

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint required

  • Advanced Computer skills including network architecture, server maintenance, and report building preferred

  • Personal Attributes: dependable, organized, willing to learn, able to multi-task, and attention to detail

  • Basic mechanical, operational, or support and service knowledge of product line is preferred

  • Work onsite

  • Able to work up to 28 hours per week

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, walking, sitting, using hands, talking, hearing
