Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for an Operations Manager. As an Operations Manager you are responsible for acting as a champion for change, acting strategically, effectively assembling and managing talent, and driving for results.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Management of production uptime for maximum equipment utilization
* Maximize raw material usage to minimize scrap
* Develop and maintain internal and external customers providing best in class customer service
* Promote and demonstrate a safe work environment (complying with EPA/OSHA regulations). Provide continuous safety training and engagement to employees
* Ensure employee development and positive employee relations while displaying a commitment to lead
*Understands lean principles and Six Sigma process improvement
*All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree Preferred
* 5-7 years supervisory or managerial experience
* SAP experience preferred
* Lean six sigma experience
* Well-developed interpersonal skills; the ability to establish trust and remain flexible in style and approach
* Understands how to lead change within dynamic environments
* Strong diagnostic, problem solving, and analytical skills
