Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Cut to Length Operator. As a Cut To Length Operator you are responsible for daily Cut to Length machine operation for part processing. Machine set-up, potential CNC Machine set-up.

Roles and responsibilities:

* Feedstock material inspection to ensure quality specifications
* Calibration of measuring equipment (checking measuring equipment, i.e. tape measures, each day prior to using it in the course of a shift)
* Part inspection to ensure quality specifications
* Basic machine maintenance, including assisting maintenance personnel during breakdowns
* Ability and willingness to effectively train others on machines, work cell or other business functions as required
* Pulling and staging feedstock for production orders
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:
* 3 - 5 years of experience as a skilled Cut to Length machine operator preferred
* Ability to navigate on a computer to find information, enter information when prompted and print as necessary
* Successful completion of the Ramsay Corporation Combined Basic Skills Assessment which evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, and process monitoring & problem-solving skills.
