Job Description
Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a UX/Visual Designer. This is a 6 month + contract and a hybrid remote position located in Austin, TX.

Summary:
  • Seeking a UX/Visual Designer.
Responsibilities:
  • Create design concepts, user flows, design mocks, Figma prototypes, and delivery assets including greenlines for Eng.
  • Collaborate frequently with other UXers (designers, researchers, content strategists).
  • Communicate design decisions clearly from sketches to specs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to share work, define product requirements, and refine design work based on feedback.
  • Maintain well organized design documentation and delivery files.
  • Evaluate product quality and recommend design changes.
  • Provide updates to teammates on status and risks on an ongoing basis.
  • Create design concepts, user flows, design mocks, Figma prototypes, and delivery assets including greenlines for Eng.
  • Align with BSA lead and ENG on priorities and delivery of design work.
  • Maintain well organized design documentation and delivery files.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years or experience.
  • As a Senior UXD on the Design Systems team within Client Ads you will be responsible for conducting product audits, identifying patterns, and creating flexible, enterprise focused. components that can be used by all of Client Ads products with a core focus on the interaction and behavior of the components.
  • Understand all the Client Ads products patterns and components.
  • Define the standards for existing and new requirements for Client Ads.
  • Design new patterns and components for built on Client's Material brand language to reflect the needs of Client Ads Products.
  • Document the usage, accessibility, and design specs for components within the Client Ads. Design System spec.
  • Own the review process between multiple teams within Client (Reach, Eng, Material) and address feedback.
  • Respond to and close bugs related to current components by improving designs.
  • Work closely with Eng and PM partners to ensure components and patterns are well-documented.
  • Contribute strategically to the development of an improved process around pattern definition and documentation.
  • Create aesthetically excellent work that is true to the Client brand spirit.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Desired:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field + 2-4 years of post-baccalaureate experience in graphic design or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience establishing design systems for various brands.
  • Ability to demonstrate a collaborative approach with design and engineers.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong interaction skills for patterns and components.
  • Interest in or experience with using Content Management Systems (CMS) and, or designing for them.
  • Interest in or experience with layout design and visual communications.
  • Experience working closely with UX and product management teams in the tech industry.
