Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Service Center Operator position. As a Service Center Operator, you are responsible for setting up, maintaining the machine and work area.

If position is second or third shift insert this: This position is 3rd shift. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 11:00 pm- 7:00 am.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Pulling and staging feedstock for production orders
* Finished good piece finishing to meet customer expectation and packaging of material per customer specification
* Work order confirmation on computer
* Operating an overhead crane, forklift or side loader to move material as needed
* Working in a safe manner as outlined during training and use prescribed safety equipment including PPE
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:
*Some warehouse experience preferred
* Ability to navigate on a computer to find information, enter information when prompted and print as necessary
* Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision and hearing
* Physical ability to pass physical requirements for mobility and lifting requirements
* Successfully pass the Ramsay Corporation Combined Basic Skills Assessment which evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, and process monitoring & problem-solving skills
