About the Role: We are seeking an Enterprise Facilities and Security Leader to provide global leadership across our Enterprise in the areas of physical security, facilities, & logistics. In this role, you will be responsible to set overall policy, processes, and Enterprise governance for physical security standards, global facilities, and logistics. These policies will apply across all divisions and countries to ensure a comprehensive global strategy that safeguards associates, assets, information and ensures regulatory compliance.

This position will be located at a US East facility (Newark, Delaware or Elkton, Maryland) or US West facility (Flagstaff or Phoenix, Arizona), with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive work to transition from centralized functions to ones that are staffed in each division
  • Work closely with the functional leaders to embed policy and processes
  • Promote collaboration, communication and alignment across the Enterprise to ensure we maintain high performance in the functions
  • Continuously improve the work of the functions through adoption of Gore Business System tools and systems
  • Partner on operational planning across the functions in partnership with each division
  • Provide connectivity to Enterprise Leadership on waterline topics
  • Identify and analyze emerging trends and adjust functional strategy as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of results
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in subject areas of facilities, security, global compliance and/or logistics
  • Successful experience in negotiating and driving choices with other functions, shared service teams, or businesses
  • Experience in crisis management and emergency response
  • Demonstrated learning agility and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and integrate in a matrixed environment - both across businesses and functions
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts while aligning business and functional strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into priorities/goal, drive performance and engagement through coaching and feedback, measure outcomes, and hold others accountable for results
  • Ability to lead in subject areas where you are not the expert
  • Ability to travel 15%

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading other leaders
  • Experience driving work or leading globally
  • Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, safety regulations, security best practices and global regulatory requirements
