The KBX Logistics organization is seeking a driven and analytical Market Analyst to join our dynamic Point of View Development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future growth and success of KBX Logistics through strategic business development initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in establishing a new capability aimed at making forward price calls in the markets served by KBX Logistics. By conducting meticulous micro and macro-economic analyses, you will provide critical insights that drive strategic decision-making and enhance the long-term profitability of our organization.

This role will be in Wichita, KS.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development of sophisticated supply and demand models that support short-, medium-, and long-term price calls.
  • Collaborate closely with KBX business leaders to identify, assess, and interpret market indicators and trends.
  • Conduct comprehensive economic analyses and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and initiatives.
  • Develop and refine mental models on market drivers, continuously tracking outcomes to validate assumptions and improve predictive accuracy.
  • Drive innovation in business development processes and strategies to stay ahead of evolving market trends


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably with an emphasis in Business, Finance, or Economics, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Profound understanding of economics and financial modeling fundamentals.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic economic thinking.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Professional experience in leading a Point of View Development team or a related corporate finance/accounting group.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate or business development initiatives or strategic planning processes within a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of transportation or logistics industry dynamics and market trends
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to turn complex concepts into clear, actionable insights
