Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for an Account Representative. As an Account Representative, you are responsible for account development and management of those accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Plans territory/account approach and manages own resources
* Assists in training new team members
* Assists in creating account development plans
* Performs inventory management for customer specific material
* Communicates with operations team and may serve as a production meeting representative
* Occasional face-to-face customer interaction and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 3-5 years prior sales or industry experience required
* Solid understanding of product offerings, ERP system and markets served
* Minimal travel required. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected with advance notice.
* General understanding of metal processes and products
