What You Will Do

  • Under minimal supervision sets up and operate CNC machines in skilled precision
  • Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
  • Uses precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
  • Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines
  • Recognizes, deploys, and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
  • Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Previous CNC machining experience
  • Able to accurately read, interpret and follow blueprints
  • Experienced using precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
  • Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Must be willing and able to walk, stand, stoop, crouch and lift up to 50lbs


What Will Put You Ahead

  • 5 axis experience with a multi spindle machine
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
