What You Will Do
- Under minimal supervision sets up and operate CNC machines in skilled precision
- Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
- Uses precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
- Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines
- Recognizes, deploys, and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
- Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Previous CNC machining experience
- Able to accurately read, interpret and follow blueprints
- Experienced using precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
- Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Must be willing and able to walk, stand, stoop, crouch and lift up to 50lbs
What Will Put You Ahead
- 5 axis experience with a multi spindle machine
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
