Master's degree in Human Services/Social Sciences, Psychology, Healthcare or related human service field, at least 2 years of experience in the MH/MR field; or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
- Substance abuse experience helpful.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Detailed oriented and very strong organization skills.
- Strong counseling and direct service skills.
- Ability to work well as a member of a team and with all levels of staff.
- Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel to several residential locations.
Scope:
- Frequent talking and listening.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stoop and bend which may include direct intervention with clients.
- Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Must be available for local travel.
- May require crisis intervention in emergency situations.
- May be assigned to complete 24 hours on call beeper coverage and assigned/needed.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, in accordance with client needs and scheduling.
