The Hiniker Lab in the Department of Pathology seeks a Research Technician I position to join its research team. Under direct supervision of a postdoctoral scholar, the technician will assist in various research projects to understand LRRK2 cellular biology and the cellular and molecular mechanisms of Parkinson's disease pathogenesis. The position will require knowledge of basic cell and molecular biology techniques (especially mammalian cell culture and western blot), excellent organizational skills, and ability to assist with organizational tasks to maintain lab operations. There is the occasional need for flexible work hours to meet the demands of the experimental protocols and processing timelines.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30 pm
Hourly range:
The hourly rate range for this position is $21.07 - $27.63.
