Are you a talented, creative, proactive digital design expert experienced in electronic media and print? If so, we want to connect with you. In this newly created position, you will assist stakeholders by interpreting their vision and delivering professional imagery to represent our organization including adherence to brand guidelines.


We are looking for a designer with a diverse skillset to support our marketing and communications and business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects using the right style and layout for every project.

Responsibilities


In this role, you will meet with stakeholders to understand business needs and work on a range of projects using various software programs. With an internal customer mindset, you welcome collaboration, and brainstorming, but can also work independently. You have great attention to detail, while adhering to deadlines, and you are able to project manage your work and set expectations.

  • Design creation: Develop visually appealing and on-brand designs for various digital and print media, including websites, intranet, PowerPoint decks, social media, marketing collateral and more. Collaborate with Brand to understand design requirements and conceptualize creative solutions that effectively communicate the intended message
  • Print production knowledge: Understand print production processes and specifications for the development of print materials
  • Brand consistency: Ensure consistency in design elements across all materials, per IFF brand identity
  • Software proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Acrobat Pro, Premier Pro and MS PowerPoint to create impactful presentations
  • Quick adaptability of digital tools: Working knowledge of web development-front end and back end, updating intranet, layout newsletters utilizing licensed applications
  • Web design ability: Working knowledge of web design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software's, UX design, SEO Awareness, wireframing and prototyping
  • Web language program knowledge: Functional understanding of web design languages and programs like HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL etc. to effectively scope out and deploy web development specifications
  • Support brand library creation: Work with the Brand team to update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, videos etc.
  • Quality control: Conduct thorough quality checks on designs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements
  • Video production and editing: Working knowledge of creating and editing brief videos for both external and internal communications

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Preferred majors include graphic or visual design, art, web design, electronic media or related field
  • Innovative, professional design skills
  • Minimum of seven years work experience and working knowledge and experience in design software including Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Premier Pro
  • PowerPoint
  • CSS, HTML, Javascript
  • SQL multimedia
  • Portfolio submission will be requested during interview process\

The Pharma Solutions business will be taking on its next chapter of growth as a trusted partner for the
pharmaceutical industry with the announcement to sell Pharma Solutions to Roquette. This move will position Pharma Solutions to expand its industry leadership through continued investment in innovation to meet the evolving needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers and developers worldwide.

The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2025, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Pharma Solutions business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to Roquette.
