Summary

~ Per Diem / Evening/Weekend (Hybrid) ~

This role can be performed remotely from Maine or New Hampshire following completion of onsite training in our Saco office. Occasional onsite training/meetings thereafter.

This role may cover weekend shifts, 8AM - 5PM and/or 1 overnight shift, 5PM - 8AM per week.

Position Summary

The Home Care Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor position is an important member of our nursing leadership, and is responsible for assisting and overseeing nurses and other visiting staff providing patient care for the Agency. Supports the Agency's programs and initiatives by ensuring staff provide quality and effective patient care. This position reports to the Clinical Director.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in nursing required plus three years of clinical acute care experience including one year of supervisory and home health experience, or Associates Degree in nursing or other clinical area with three to five years of clinical acute care experience, including more than a year of home health experience.
    2. License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure for appropriate clinical designation. Current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
    3. Experience: Bachelor's Degree in nursing required plus three years of clinical acute care experience including one year of supervisory and home health experience, or Associates Degree in nursing with three to five years of clinical acute care experience, including more than a year of home health experience.
    4. Proficient with Electronic Health Record, OASIS, and PPS.
    5. Strong and effective leadership skills.
    6. Ability to manage staff in a hectic environment to achieve Agency goals and quality care outcomes.
    7. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with staff and coworkers.
    8. Excellent customer service skills.
