Job Description

The Architecture Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
  • Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
  • Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
  • Identifies reusable functionality and implements it as a reusable component.
  • Broad experience in the PEGA rules-based architecture to configure and test applications functionality in process flow, UI screens, automated decisions, and prosperities
  • Exposure to full life-cycle experience in large systems, preferably in the financial domain with an understanding financial business process and operation
  • Identifies reporting requirements to general business functionality, non-functionality needs and required data attributes for BPM specific workflows.
  • Solid experience with converting business into process flow, designing architecture on an Enterprise level and proficient in one or more project management tools
  • Validates code for compliance of standards and Pega Guardrails.
  • Oversees testing and debugging, identifies risks and undertakes steps to mitigate risks or defects.
  • Collaborates across multiple Agile Release Trains providing expertise to cross-functional scrum teams and support to the Release Train Engineer.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team executing in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.
  • Ensures reliability and availability of Pega BRE and BPM Platform and works with cross-functional teams on capacity planning.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years relevant experience
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Pega LSA certification preferred
  • Management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to develop working relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly
  • Methodical, attention to detail
  • Experience in Pega 8.* version is a plus.


Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
