Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Tube Laser Operator. As a Tube Laser Operator you are responsible for the start up, operation and shutdown of a fiber-tube laser equipment.

This position is 3rd shift. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Set-up of material and tube laser operation
* Check parts with basic measuring devices
* Clean-up of parts (finishing, de-burr, etc.)
* Work order updates and confirmation on computer
* Operating a crane or forklift to move material as needed
* Carrying/moving supplies as needed
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:
* Successful completion of the Ramsay Corporation Combined Basic Skills Assessment which evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, and process monitoring & problem-solving skills
* Experience operating tube laser machines is preferred
* Able to draw and read blueprints
* Forklift and crane experience is a plus
* Must know how to use measuring equipment such as calipers, measuring tape, etc.
* Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer
