InGenesis is currently seeking an Activity Therapy Specialist to work with our client. In this role, you will facilitate therapeutic activities for rehabilitative purposes.

Job Duties:

* Plans, organizes, conducts, and ensures implementation of clinical adjunctive therapy program/services.

* Promotes activities to include encouraging interaction and /or involvement.

* Assists in administering treatments as directed by the treatment/behavior plan.

* Facilitates treatment with appropriate interventions as decided by treatment team.

* Prepares and maintains work related documentation.

* Attends and participates in meetings.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in recreation or specialty area (e.g., music, art, drama) or an Associate degree with 1+ year experience in Activity Therapy.

* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

* Proficient in the use of personal computer.
