Job Description

InGenesis is currently seeking a Treatment Plant Coordinator to work with our client located in Orient, OH. In this role, you work in the operation and maintenance of water & wastewater treatment plants.

Job Duties:

* Serves as Operator of Record for Class water & class 1 wastewater treatment facilities.

* Acts as lead worker & coordinates activities of treatment plant operators in operation & maintenance of water & wastewater treatment plants.

* Conducts routine sampling & monitoring daily or as required by Ohio EPA.

* Performs daily, weekly, bi-weekly & monthly chemical tests on water & sewage plants.

* Collects samples & sends to laboratory for analysis; maintains laboratory & laboratory equipment; orders supplies & equipment.

* Manages water & sewage plant equipment to makes repairs as required.

* Prepares and maintains records, generating reports as required.

* Assists with overseeing budget allocation for section.

* Oversees safety inspection program of treatment facilities and performs safety inspections.

* Oversees and performs general maintenance at water & wastewater treatment facility.

* Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Class 1 wastewater and Class 1 water license (all certified water & wastewater operators must meet requirements of OAC 3745-7-15 pertaining to OEPA.

* Knowledge of workforce planning, employee training and development.

* Ability to operate client vehicle, must show proof of valid driver's license.
