Job Description
Essential Functions
*Safety's Quality First Mindset
*Set up and operate printing press to meet production and customer requirements.
*Monitor equipment and the production process to adhere to customer specification.
*Identify the root-cause of defective product and recommend solutions to eliminate the defect- Challenge the process.
*Troubleshoot equipment and recurring production issues causing down time and defective product.
*Accurate data enter into production system.
*Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments.
*Enter/retrieve data into computer.
*Must be able to work in a team environment to achieve department goals.
*Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
*Support the Printpack Performance System initiative/5S/Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement
*Adhere to all safety, environmental and food safety procedures.
*Demonstrate drive to continuously improve and challenge existing processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Color vision is required
  • Proficient mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent work history and good attendance record
  • Excellent time management skills is a must
  • Collaborative working style, self-motivated and ability to perform under pressure
  • Must be able to stand for a prolonged period of time
  • Requires lifting up to 50lbx.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Flexographic printing experience a plus
  • Prior production or manufacturing experience preferred
