We are looking for a General Maintenance to join our team in Lancaster, NY. Responsibilities and duties include:

* Working with the company computer system and preventive maintenance programs.
* Abides by all Company safety rules and environmental guidelines
* Repairs and maintains plant equipment in an efficient manner on a daily basis
* Creates and utilizes preventive maintenance program and keeps files up-to-date
* Help to eliminate machine downtime
* Coordinate outside maintenance services as required
* Order parts as required to keep equipment operating in a safe/efficient basis
* Help to train others as required
* Follows all Company ISO policies and procedures
* Keep work areas clean and organized
* Report any problems to supervision
* Working knowledge of electricity, welding & burning, hydraulic repair
* Other duties as assigned by leadership

Position Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* General plumbing and electrical work experience is required
* Must also have a working knowledge of machine and crane repair
* Must be flexible, self-directed and have an understanding of production requirements in a service orientated company.
* Able to work well with others; strong customer service skills and a team-based mindset
* Experience in a maintenance role; experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment is a plus
* Problem solving skills
* Knowledge of OSHA requirements regarding equipment
* Rigging, welding and fabrication skills as beneficial experience but not required
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and multiple tasks
* Good communication, mathematical, technical reasoning and computer skills required.
* Strong troubleshooting and repair abilities in hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment.
