We are looking for a Burner Operator to join our SFI Gray team in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities and duties include:

* Daily machine operation for plate cutting parts to shape on burning machines
* Piece processing which could include: grinding, beveling or finishing
* Machine programming and set up for parts creation
* Using measuring equipment to check the accuracy of the cut parts
* Maximum productivity during job task
* Production of quality parts to customer specifications
* Efficient scrap utilization
* Staging material for shipping
* Operating an overhead crane to move skids of material or plate as needed
* Operating a forklift or sideloader to move skids of material as needed
* Carrying/moving packaging supplies and packaging skids as needed
* Other duties as directed by supervision

Position Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED
* Ability to read and understand parts drawings
* Basic math skills
* Basic computer skills
* Experience operating CNC controlled burning equipment
* Experience operating overhead cranes with regard to the movement of carbon steel plate
