Ryerson Inc. is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to work among our warehouse team in Eldridge, IA.

Successful candidate will be accountable for maintaining and improving our quality program. Successful candidate would also be responsible for ongoing compliance to ISO, PPAP and First Article program.

Responsibilities include:
* Meeting or exceeding goals for on-time delivery and product quality
* Develop and streamline key quality process instructions
* Implement and lead improvement processes to achieve set goals
* Root cause analysis
* Liaison with customers and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues and implement continuous improvement
* Assist in auditing to and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 compliance
* Complete PPAPs and First Article Inspections per customer's request

Position Requirements:
* BS degree in related field, engineering preferred. Combination of work experience and other degrees maybe considered.
* High School Diploma/GED required
* 3-5 years in a related industry
* Experience developing and implementing ISO program preferred
* Must have strong leadership, communication and analytical skills
* Ability to manage time effectively and independently
* Operations experience preferred
* Prior SAP experience a plus
* Must have ability to read blue prints and interpret GD&T
* Must have ability to use 2 axis coordinate measuring machine and other measuring tools
* Familiarity with metal burning, machining and welding preferred
