We are looking for a Lean Process Analyst who will be responsible for supporting continuous process improvement throughout Ryerson's Atlanta-Gulf Coast Multi Market. The winning candidate will analyze processes and complete improvement projects across the region as directed by the Multi Market Operations Manager and Multi Market General Manager.

* Support the execution of the Project Portfolio through process documentation, subject matter review and improvement research
* Collaborate with business owners and subject matter experts on teams throughout the enterprise to study processes and improvements using various process improvement tools and methodologies.
* Create process maps and perform data gathering and historical trending to develop a current state and identify root causes of defects or areas of waste in a process.
* Initiate and manage process improvement engagement scope, timing and resources to reach agreed upon future state outcomes and transition to run the business.
* Develop metrics to monitor ongoing performance measurements.
* Maintain documentation to track process improvements and performance, communicate progress to multiple stakeholders and leadership, and assure timely achievement of project deliverables.
* Assist in building and maintaining a library of process improvement tools, templates and best practices.
* Aid in establishing a library of process maps and information flows.
* Other projects and duties as assigned by leadership

Position Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field
* Experience using Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology
* Certification through an accredited Lean /Six Sigma program minimum Green Certification
* Project Management experience
* Ability to lead or facilitate individual and / or large group discussions
* Knowledge and experience in systematic problem solving and analytical techniques
* Quality or safety background helpful; good data analytics and analysis
* Must be willing to travel
