Position Description:

We are currently looking for a full time Welder based at our Hilliard facility, working on 2nd shift. The successful candidate will report to and work in conjunction with the Welding Manager to drive in the areas of warehouse operations and health and safety.

Essential Functions:
* Applies appropriate welding and fabricating processes to metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum
* Works according the layouts, work orders and blueprints MIG and TIG welding equipment; will need to lay out and mark weld points on parts or sub-assemblies of some material; will also need to position pieces to be welded into jigs and fixtures using measuring instruments and hand tools
* Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications
* Observes all standard safety practices and maintains and completes all required records
* Follows all safety rules and practices
* May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Extensive MIG welding experience
* TIG welding experience preferred
* Forklift and overhead crane experience
* Minimum 3 years experience in a steel or industrial manufacturing setting preferred
* Ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work overtime as needed
