Dan King is principal of Career Planning and Management, Inc., www.careerfirm.com and co-founder of www.MeaningfulCareers.com. With over 25 years experience in counseling, training, coaching and career development, he supports individuals and organizations in planning and managing a wide range of contemporary worklife and workplace issues. He has consulted to such diverse clients as IBM/Lotus, State Street, Harvard University, Weber-Shandwick, NStar, MIT, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Wyeth, Marriott, the Education Development Center, and Bank of America (formerly Fleet/BankBoston).
A frequent guest on TV and radio, Dan has appeared on Boston’s Chronicle Magazine and co-hosted the radio program, Hire Frequencies, on the Money Matters Network for three years. He a regular contributor to such publications as the Boston Business Journal, Mass High Tech and CareerBuilder. He holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Counseling Psychology and has earned recognition as Career Management Fellow (CMF) from the International Board for Career Management Certification. He is also a Master Career Counselor (MCC) recognized by the National Career Development Association.
