Aireco Supply, Inc. was founded in 1952 in Washington, D.C. as Atlantic Baker’s Supply, which operated primarily as a refrigeration supply house. With the advent and growth of air conditioning throughout the 40’s and early 50’s in post WWII America, the company would change it’s name to Aireco Supply, Inc. in 1957 and take advantage of the opportunity to grow within this new industry segment over the next several decades.

Between 1981 and 1998, Aireco acquired or opened 33 branches in Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. These acquisitions provided the cornerstone of the company’s philosophy, the “Aireco Advantage,” which drives Aireco’s daily operating decisions.
