DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, is responsible for providing support for Engineering Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provides clerical functions for engineering staff personnel and data entry.
- Authorized to keep files organized and keep all certifications, TS16949 documents, tooling and customer files. Maintains books and updates.
- Prepares misc. reports to forward to corporate.
- Support production design
- Support tooling design.
- Process flow design.
- Time studies as needed.
- Process projects- working with Engineers at the plant.
- Assist in translation of documents.
- Verify document standards on the shop floor.
- Verification of work standards (job aids and required documents)
- Process instruction validation.
- Performs other essential functions as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Training and or experience in an office environment. Computer skills- word, excel, Inventor and CAD.
MAJOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
The employee is required to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor, exert 20 pounds of force occasionally, and 10 pounds of force frequently. Visual acuity for reading documents, computer screens, and office machines.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normally work in an office environment, but also is in the plant. Hazards may result from loud noise, physical dangers from moving machine parts and operating machines, and breathing dust and fumes.
