The primary focus of this research position is to assist in innovative MR image reconstruction and pulse sequence methods. The successful applicants will join the collaboration with researchers and clinicians at the MR Research Facility, Iowa Institute for Biomedical Imaging (IIBI) and University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (UIHC) on the development of advanced Pediatric MR research with a primary focus on the brain and/or heart (e.g., MR spectroscopic imaging, MR elastography, susceptibility mapping and/or dynamic imaging). The candidate will be also encouraged to explore other research opportunities or collaborations within the group. Tools and techniques to be developed include but are not limited to MR pulse sequences, machine learning-based reconstruction algorithms and image analysis pipelines.
