This is an individual contributor role that will support, develop, and implement the desired state of transactional and informational processes throughout the Accounting and Finance organizations.
1. Work with the team to develop and implement optimized processes using lean methodology. This will include process mapping of the current and future state, transformation planning, change management, and ongoing monitoring activities related to process changes. It involves simplifying, streamlining, and harmonizing essential finance processes to create a leaner, more efficient finance operation. Focus on improving the overall effectiveness of core activities to enable reliable data streams, uniform reporting standards, and optimized finance processes and technology infrastructure.
2. Project and Transformation management.
3. Support for IT initiatives including working with IT and finance users to ensure needs, requirements, and deliverables are well articulated and met, assisting UAT, and training impacted staff.
4. Support, coordinate and manage various activities related to accounting governance, risk management, and compliance, such as:
a. Creating or ensuring adequate policy and process documentation to satisfy internal control, quality, and user requirements.
b. Supporting internal control testing and audit efforts.
c. Administrating accounting management SharePoint site.
d. Managing the segregation of duties efforts with the business users.
5. Other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned.
