SHIFTS: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
SUMMARY:
Removes casting defects and weld repairs excavations with proper filler metal and is capable of removing castings from Gates, Risers, and Runner systems by means of an Arc Air Torch.

SUMMARY:
Removes casting defects and weld repairs excavations with proper filler metal and is capable of removing castings from Gates, Risers, and Runner systems by means of an Arc Air Torch.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Weld repair to customer quality levels with minimal supervision.
- Perform self-inspection to maintain quality levels and production goals.
- Use proper weld filler metal required by product master specifications.
- Fills out daily production work records.
- Use Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).
- Performs duties in a safe manner and follows all of the safety procedures.
- Undergoes required training in applicable work instructions, Quality Assurance procedures, and quality polices.
- Other duties may be assigned.
