Application Engineering Intern

Position Summary:
Application Engineering interns perform project-oriented work implementing systems with Rockwell Automation products to meet unique customer requirements. The intern will be a member of a project team working under the direction of a lead engineer, or designer. Primary duties include:
-Ladder Logic Development
-HMI Development
-Project Status Report
-System Testing - hardware, software
-System Troubleshooting - hardware, software
-Function Design Review and Development
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
* Must be attending an accredited 4-year college or university
* Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Working towards a bachelor's of science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electro Mechanical Engineering
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
* Strong communication skills - verbal and written
