Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Network Administrator Intern who is looking for practical hands-on experience in a dynamic team setting. This role is open to part-time during the school year for local students and/or full-time during the summer of 2020.

THE DAY TO DAY...

• Assist the Infrastructure team on-going projects that support key business decisions

• Analyzing network/system help tickets and assist in their resolution
• Gather additional diagnostic information from users and perform basic troubleshooting tasks
• Analyze, and report on various networking and system logs/metrics
• Prep and apply basic configurations to various network and system hardware

In this internship you will gain experience with:

• Networking & System Fundamentals
• Network architecture
• IT Infrastructure basic concepts
• Network & System troubleshooting
• Datacenter management & documentation
• Learning more about opportunities within the IT Infrastructure area

You will be exposed to:

• Several departments (IT, Finance, Engineering) and people within the business such as Manufacturing, Customer Service, Marketing, Engineering

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

• Must be enrolled as a student studying toward a degree in Computer Science or Information technology or something similar
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must have and maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0/4.0
• Must have the desire to learn & ask questions
