Social Media & Marketing Intern
Location: Falls Church, VA
Type: InternshipMin. Experience: Student (College)

We have an immediate opportunity for a Social Media and Marketing Intern to join our Operations team. The selected candidate will gain firsthand experience in organizational marketing and social media coordination.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Designing and editing graphics templates for multimedia use, proposals, and marketing collateral
  • Creating social media postings on multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Glassdoor
  • Manage and maintain calendar for social media postings
  • Utilizes relevant graphics software applications to produce graphics for use in communications materials
  • Provides creative input and support to NetImpact's Digital Content team
  • Monitor social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
  • Assist in the planning and hosting of organizational events
  • Assist with daily administrative duties, including providing customer service support internally and externally through calls, emails, and social media.

Required Skills

  • Current student or recent graduate within the last year from undergraduate or graduate relevant program.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suites
  • Experience using various social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in both oral and written form
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Genuine desire to learn is essential
  • Must be able to maintain government eligibility requirements.

This position is located in Falls Church, VA and is available immediately.
