The Seagate Consumer Solutions Sales Operations Pricing Team is looking for a dynamic and success driven summer intern to play key roles throughout a 12 week time period. We are looking for an intern who is detail oriented, organized and analytical to help develop and maintain processes, tools and capabilities that contribute positively to the Pricing Team's productivity and efficiency. The Intern will have the opportunity to work on both tactical operating tasks as well as Strategic analysis.

About the role - you will:

• Pricing Analytics: Collect and analyze historical data. Draw conclusions and make recommendations that would enhance the effectiveness of pricing and promotional activity for a given channel or account

• Cross Functional Engagement - Work cross functionally with teams in sales, marketing, finance and operations. Identify gaps and propose solutions to improve pricing process efficiency and effectiveness as well as overall partner/customer satisfaction.

• Public Speaking - Present a project update or business case to gain public speaking experience while learning the process of cross functional alignment

Interns typically work Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. The hours are subject to change with or without notice at the sole discretion of Seagate.

About you:

• Pursuing BS, or Masters in a Business discipline coupled with some knowledge or coursework with Data Science & Analytics programs including Tableau, SQL, Python, R or related programs

• Must be a current student and returning to school Fall 2020 Semester

• Have a keen attention to detail, be well-organized, have strong analytical thinking abilities, possess excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects in parallel and deliver on time

• Proficient with Microsoft Office including advanced analytics Excel functions
